We are so proud to be a part of St. John’s Mission to help find a cure for cancer. We all know someone that has been affected by cancer and our desire is to help as much as we can.

Our mission is twofold; to give support to cancer patients and to raise money to help find the cure for cancer. Our team collects angels to make an “Angel Bible Verse Tree”.

Each May is the culmination of our fundraising efforts at Relay for Life Event at the Cedar Crest High School Football Stadium. In 2008 we raised and donated $12,920.76 with the wonderful help of members at St. Johns. We made and sold pumpkin rolls, potato filling, sold gift cards for Giant and Weis, chicken bar-b-que, Kaiser sandwiches, pretzel sandwiches, held a Tastefully Simple Party, handed out M&M containers, worked at Hershey Park, held car washes, a bake sale, recycled aluminum cans, collected old cell phones and received money donations.

Our team started in 2000 and to date we have donated a total of $91,982. The cure has not been found, but many more patients are surviving! The 2008 relay was a rousing success! The Lebanon County Relay for Life totaled $564,346.44 raised for 2008. We are so happy we are able to be a part of this very worthwhile mission.
