Our Relay for Life Team raises money to help find a cure for cancer. We formed our team in 2000 and to date have raised a total of $106,203 for the American Cancer Society. Our current fundraisers are: Giant and Weis gift cards, Kauffman's chicken barbque, recycling aluminum cans, volunteering at Hershey Park. The culmination of our fundraiser for 2010 will be on June 11 and 12, 2010, at the Lebanon Expo Center. This is a Lebanon County fundraiser.
If you are interested in joining our team, or would like to donate money to the Cancer Society, please email our church office at secretary@stjohnsuccjonestown.org. We meet the 2nd Sunday of each month after church with a pot luck dinner. As our mission we also collect angels and make Bible verse trees for people being treated for cancer. We pray this helps them through a very difficult time. As always, our team expresses "think cure"!
